Timothy Whitman, 54, of Lynchburg, Va., died Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
Tim was born Saturday, March 3, 1962, in Titusville, Pa., a son of Patricia Hartle Whitman and the late Richard Whitman.
He worked as a machinist in the fabrication industry at AMG for many years. His hobbies included being an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving daughter, Sydney Whitman; two brothers, Dwayne Whitman and his wife, Bonnie of Pleasantville, Pa., and Larry Whitman of Pleasantville, Pa.; a sister, Kelly Connolly of Ashtabula, Ohio; and a devoted cousin, Frank Hotaling and his wife, Mary of Goode, Va.
A celebration of Timothy’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 7215 Charlemont Road, Goode, VA 24556.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Tharp Funeral Home, care of Timothy Whitman Funeral Fund, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
