Tina Marie Johnson, 44, of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph T. Johnson; her sister, Melissa Johnson Rambo; her grandmother, Elizabeth Jennings; and her niece, Amanda Marie Johnson.
Left behind to cherish Tina’s memory are her mother, Sandra Farrar Johnson; her partner, Beth Tweedy; her brother, Joseph Johnson, Jr.; her loving nieces and nephews, Danny Burgess, Jonathan Rambo, Mallory Rambo, Nick Rambo, Ashley Johnson, and Joey Johnson; her aunt, Linda Messner and her husband, Gary; and numerous other beloved family members and friends.
Tina was a very humorous, fun-loving person. She loved to play jokes on people and enjoyed making others laugh. She had a big, beautiful smile that lit up the room wherever she went. She was also very meticulous about her yard, and enjoyed spending her time outside working on the lawn and the landscaping. A caring, big-hearted person, she also had a passion for her dogs who she cared for tremendously. Tina will be remembered for her warm and joyful spirit, and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016, at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Services will be held privately.
