Todd Jerome Whorley, 53, of Big Island, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at his home.
Born November 27, 1964 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Erma Goff Whorley and the late George Calvin Whorley. Todd is also preceded in death by a sister: Pamela “Tina” Whorley.
In addition to his mother, Todd is survived by his wife: Sherry Mullins Whorley; son: Wesley Todd Whorley; four step-children: Erin Wooldridge, Bobbie Towery, David Snead, Dale Whorley; sister: Hope Wilkerson and husband, Matt; brothers: Rodney Whorley and wife, Cindy, Direck Whorley and wife, Ashley; two step-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held at Hunting Creek Baptist Church, Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Dr. Carey C. Snellings. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church Friday, from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
