Tommy Darrell Goff, Sr.

Tommy Darrell Goff, Sr., 57, of Bedford died Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He was born February 5, 1957 in Bedford County, a son of the late Silas Owen Goff and Ruth Wilson Robertson.
Tommy was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church. He was previously employed by Russell Floyd Logging. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, fellowship and visiting with friends.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by three siblings. He is survived by his wife, Virginia M. Goff; two children, T. J. Goff and his wife, Crystal and Amanda N. Goff and her life partner, Amanda Garraghty all of Bedford; two granddaughters, Kyndall Goff and Riley Goff; three sisters, Elsie Andrews, Patricia Peterson and her husband, Arbid and Jeanette Goff; three brothers, Lawrence Goff and his wife, Edna, Dalmase Goff and his wife, Janie and Ted Goff; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends; and his special four legged friend, Bandit.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford Humane Society, 829 Ole Turnpike Dr., Bedford, VA 24523.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be conducted at 2 PM, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Chapel with Pastor Samuel Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Parker Family Cemetery in Thaxton. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Home.
