Tommy Wayne Burnett, 59, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021.
He was born on March 19, 1962, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Tommy was the son of the late Clyde David Burnett and Joyce Parker Burnett. Tommy was predeceased by his father.
In addition to his mother, Tommy is survived by his sisters, Linda Gale Burnett and Peggy Sue Tweedy (Glenn); brothers, Danny Ray Burnett (Linda), Earl David Burnett (Julie), and Phillip Randolph Burnett.
Tommy graduated from E.C. Glass in 1980. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and rooting for the New York Giants.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Spring Hill Cemetery at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
