Tove Grethe Lacy

\"I have left this world thankful for all the wonderful people I have met.\" Tove Grethe Juul Christensen Lacy, 84, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Born March 2, 1927 in Denmark; she was a daughter of the late Christen Juul Christensen and Marie Petersen Christensen.

Tove worked as a bookkeeper at Peaks Motors and later at Lyle Drug Store for over 30 years.

Tove is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carlton Ferris Lacy, and their daughter Linda Lacy Sowards and husband, James Roy, all of Bedford.

A Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Chapel; interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford.
