Tracy Vaughan Wilmer, Jr.

Tracy Vaughan Wilmer Jr, 62 of Lynchburg passed away Friday November 10, 2023. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Lloyd L. Tyndall, sisters Debbie Wilmer, Diana Demadaler and brother Gary Wilmer.

Tracy was born Sunday June 11, 1961 in Lynchburg Virginia; a son of Louise W. Tyndall and the late Tracy V. Wilmer Sr.

Tracy is survived by his daughter Amber Etters and husband Josh. Grand daughters; Caroline and Hadleigh Etters. sisters; Teresa Donnell (Pete) and Nita Brueggemann. brothers; Danny Wilmer (Vania) and L. Kevin Tyndall. nieces; Brandy Guthrie (Robbie), Katie Sullivan (Riley), Stacey Pannell and Anna Wilmer. nephews; Adam Brueggemann (Brandon), Corey Brueggemann (Jeanne) and Wyatt Wilmer.  Many great nieces and nephews. 

Tracy was known as "The Pepsi Man" around town as he worked for Pepsi for over 20 years. If he wasn't working he was taking trips to the beach, out riding his motorcycle, camping alongside a creek or river and spending time with his daughter and family. Tracy was a fun dad, uncle and friend. Anyone that knows Tracy knew he would do anything for anyone. All the memories of Tracy will be cherished forever. 

A special Thank You to his Nieces Stacey and Brandy for being by his bedside during this difficult time; I would have not been able to do this without the both of you. Love You Amber 

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. The Family will receive friends one hour prior.
