Traute Dannath Zagora, 87, of Madison Heights died Thursday, May 15, 2014. She was the loving wife of the late Waldemar Karl Zagora for almost 60 years.
Born September 4, 1926, in East Prussia, Germany, Traute was a daughter of the late Margarete Dannath.
Traute is survived by her daughter Regina Tyree and her husband Marvin “Smokey†of Madison Heights, two grandchildren; Amanda Tyree Davis and her husband Chris of Madison Heights, and Brigitte Tyree Wilson of Madison Heights, a special cousin Hans Dannath and his companion Marion Wells of Lynchburg.
In addition to her husband and mother, Traute was preceded in death by a daughter Beatrix Zagora Vargas
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Regina Tyree, 1809 Izaak Walton Road, Madison Heights.
