Troy Lynn Arthur, 50, of Forest passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015. Born September 28, 1964; he was a son of Alvin Comer Arthur and Mary Thacker Arthur.
Troy was a loving husband, father, and son who was devoted to his family and friends. He was full of life and enjoyed the outdoors. An avid sportsman, Troy loved hunting and fishing. Troy was recently honored by the Bellevue Community Center by naming their youth fields after him for his hard work and dedication.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish Troy’s memory are his loving wife of 27 years, Angela McGuire Arthur; his children, Cody Landon Arthur, Camryn Brooke Arthur, and Colton Lane Arthur; his brother, Travis Arthur and wife, Karen; his mother-in-law, Nancy J. McGuire; and brother-in-law, Ronald W. McGuire and wife, Ruth.
Troy was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Horace W. McGuire.
A Celebration of Troy’s life will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Pate Chapel, Thomas Road Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating.
