Tyler Blake Arnett, 17, of Forest, was received by the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Born on September 1, 1998, in Yuma, Ariz., Tyler was a son of Robin Boyles and the late Matthew Arnett.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Audrea Arnett and Shelby Boyles; his brother, Kyle Arnett; his father figures, David Boyles and Jason Baker; his grandparents, Roger Weiss, Linda Weiss, Sandy Smith, John and Bonnie Boyles, Ellen Boyles, and Judy and Harry Pratt; his great-grandmother, Skip Boyles; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tyler was an avid fisherman. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed four-wheeling with his Jeep family, working on cars, volunteering his time to help others, and was a junior member of Rolling Thunder, Inc. Chapter 4 Virginia. He had a smile that would light up a room and a sense of humor that left everyone around him laughing constantly. Tyler is now at rest after fighting a lifetime battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Doctors did not think he would live to see his first birthday, but he proved them wrong. Tyler was loved and cared for by many, and will be sorely missed.
A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Boyles officiating. The family will receive visitors following the ceremony, and a memorial ride in Tyler’s honor will follow the visitation.
