Verna Emma-Mae Lindenmugth White, 99, of Moneta, passed away, Sunday, October 26, 2014. Born December 11, 1914 in Ashland, PA; she was the daughter of the late Jack Lindenmugth and Lilly Hunsinger Lindenmugth.
Verna was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ashland, Virginia. She enjoyed trips to casinos, especially Atlantic City.
In addition to her parents, Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Rowland White; a daughter, Betty L. Reed; and a granddaughter, Susan Vee Mitchell. She is survived by two grandsons, Ronnie Pitts and wife, Brenda, and Timothy B. Pitts; four great-grandchildren, Chris Pitts, Thomas Pitts, Tabitha Pitts, and Jennifer Pitts; and one great-great-grandson, Levi Pitts.
