Vincent Ayala, Sr., 81, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Born March 23, 1933 in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico; he was the son of the late Pablo Ayala and Victoria Gotay.
Vincent worked for the City of Elyria Ohio for 29 years. He also served in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Magdalena Ayala, sons; Nelson Ayala, Carlos Ayala, Nelson Ayala and Christopher Ayala. Vincent in survived by his children; Vincent Ayala Jr., Noraida Ayala, Victoria Baez, Nancy Cash, Peter Ayala, Anthony Ayala, Venus Ayala, Gypsy Ayala, Winnie Ayala, Vincent Ayala, III, Yolanda Ayala, and Angie Lee; and their spouses and many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Victory Baptist Temple, 45155 Telegraph Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035 on Saturday, August 9th, at 4:45 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service.
