Vincent Leroy Scott
Vincent LeRoy Scott, 59, of Lynchburg went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 13, 2013.
Vincent was born January 6, 1954 in Lynchburg he was the son of the late Hilliary Scott, Sr. and the late Maggie C. Scott. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing, sports, and sports collectibles.
Vincent is survived by a devoted wife Ina Scott, two sons: Vincent L. Scott, Jr. and Jeffri Ryan Scott both of Lynchburg, one daughter Natasha Garcia and husband Roland of Anaheim, CA, two grandchildren: Christian Garcia and Elijah Scott both of Anaheim, CA, three brothers: Hilliary Scott, Jr. and wife Betty; Michael Scott and wife Ann; and Kenneth Scott and wife Jennifer all of Lynchburg, three sisters: Rita Scott; Barbara Austin and husband Wayne; and Rosetta Anderson and husband Harold all of Lynchburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Vincent at a later date at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
