Vincent Stephen Kelly
Vincent Stephen Kelly, 81, of Lynchburg, VA, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013. He was the husband of Rita Nora Kelly, for 55 years.
Born Sunday, November 29, 1931 in Bronx, NY, Vincent was a son of the late Vincent P. Kelly and the late Mary McCarthy Kelly. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during Korea.
In addition to his wife Vincent is survived by seven children and their spouses, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A Mass of Resurrection will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 03, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Msgr. Michael McCarron officiating. Interment will follow in Amelia State Veterans Cemetery.
