Viola Lovejoy Snider
Viola Lovejoy Snider, 87, of Lynchburg (formerly of Columbus, OH) went to be with her Lord Saturday June 23, 2012. She was the wife of the late William Winston Snider.
Viola was born July 19, 1924 in Wilmore, Kentucky a daughter of the late Claude and Viola Lovejoy. Viola was a professional opera singer and a devoted homemaker. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and enjoyed watching the 700 Club in her later years.
She is survived by her four children: Bill Snider and his wife Fran of Calgary, Canada; Bob Snider of Columbus, OH; Teri Aboid and her husband Joe of Forest; and Tom Snider and his wife Arlene of Hilliard, OH, two grandchildren, Chelsea Snider and Lynn Aboid.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
The family will hold a private memorial service in Ohio at a later date.
