Virgie Rose Witt Bailie

Virgie Rose Witt Bailie, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at her residence. Born in Bedford County, March 17, 1918, she was the wife of the late Frank Bailie, and the daughter of the late Samuel Tilton and Rosa Millner Witt. Virgie was a member of Terrace View Union Church and the Lynchburg Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed attending Salvation Army Services. She is survived by two nieces; Nancy Arthur of Bedford, Margaret Bernard of Florida, four nephews; Melvin Lindsay of Madison Heights, David Lindsay and his wife, Mary of Forest, Frederick Lindsay of Forest, and Dan Witt and his wife, Linda of Bedford.   A graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 31, 2011 at Terrace View Union Church Cemetery in Forest at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Bill Turley officiating.
