Virginia A. Amick
Virginia A. Amick, 92, of Bedford, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born October 15, 1920 in Hinton, WV to John and Margaret Osborne. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, James, and son, John Mark Amick.
She is survived by son, James Thomas and wife, Joan-Ellen Amick of Holden, MA; daughter, Nancy L. and husband, Larry J. Riffee of Forest, VA; and granddaughter, Ashley R. and husband Eric L. Robertson of Forest, VA. Virginia is also survived by one brother, William Osborne of Hinton, WV, and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren of West Virginia and Massachusetts.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, WV. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM followed by funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 540-586-3443.
