Virginia Davidson Brown

Virginia Davidson Brown of Amherst Virginia died on, February 21, 2025. 

She grew up in a Christian home in Appomattox, Virginia to late Thomas B. and Kerissa F. Davidson.

Virginia lived her life with spirit and enthusiasm to glorify God. She believed that a life to be beautiful, strive to meet human needs putting the good in action turning love into deeds. A life to be beautiful will go out of the way rejoicing every step to help someone each day, touching many people and making it fun. Virginia dedicated her life to making a difference in everyone she met here at home in the United States and many mission trips to Jamaica, Mexico, Central America, South America, Russia, and Africa.

Virginia is survived by two beautiful daughters: Michele B. and husband Calvin Dameron of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Rhonda B. Campbell of Martinsburg, West Virginia; a sister Joy D. Hall of Madison Heights, four grandchildren: Geoffrey and Heath Wise, Pheby Dameron and Duncan Campbell, and one great-granddaughter Sofia Wise.

Virginia was proceeded in death by her husband, Terry Dabney Brown.

A Funeral Service for Virginia will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights with the Rev. Nancy Johnson officiating. Interment will be held privately for the family at Briarwood Memorial Gardens in Amherst County.
