Virginia May Guy Deaner, 92, of Lynchburg died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016. Ahe was the wife of the late Paul Calvin Deaner.
Born in Wilmington, DE on March 29, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Robert Healy Guy and Myrtle Gregory Guy.
Virginia retired as a secretary for Falwell Corporation. She was a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church where she was very active.
She is survived by her two sons: Gregory Shane Deaner and Nancy Deaner, Layton McGill Deaner and Rebecca Fortner Deaner; sister: Jeanette D. Giles; grandchildren: Neva Deaner and Brandon Hurley, Jacob Paul Deaner and Olta, Sarah Virginia Deaner and Corey Hosko, Kailon Faith Deaner; great-grandchildren: Dalia Violet Deaner, Logan Henry Deaner; and niece: Robbie Lynn Garritty.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 131 Old Well Road, Phenix, VA. 23959.
