Virginia graduated high school in 1952, from St Martin High School in Baltimore, MD. She was very proud of this accomplishment. She was the only one of her siblings to do so as life was very difficult in those times.
She worked in retail from a young age until she retired. Her work ethic was impeccable, receiving many awards in her lifetime. When you went shopping with her, guaranteed an employee at the store knew her and offered her a job on the spot.
Virginia was loved by everyone. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved her family and her church family Synergy Community Church in Dundalk, MD.
She was a caregiver to many. If you had a need she was there even when she had a need of her own. She cared for her father, mother, husband, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sisters, and many others.
She resided in the same home for 61 years in Dundalk, MD. Her home was the place for many family gatherings. Telling stories from days gone by was the favorite topic. The front porch was the favorite spot.
Proverbs 31:29 Many women do noble things but you surpass them all.
Proverbs 31:31 Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
We honor you, yesterday, today, tomorrow and always.
We will miss your infectious smile, laughter, wisdom and the stories you shared.
At 91, you were looking forward to reuniting with your family in heaven. You are there now.
We will miss you terribly, but we take comfort in knowing when our time comes, we will reunite with you and our hearts will be complete.
There will be a celebration of life service held Saturday, February 8, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Synergy Community Church, 7400 German Hill Rd, Dundalk MD 21222 with a reception to follow.
