Virginia Feagan Moon
Virginia \"Gin\" Feagan Moon, 88, of Lynchburg died November 27, 2013. She was the wife of the late Harlise Melvin Moon.
Virginia was born July 5, 1925 in Bedford County a daughter of the late Walter F. Feagan and Julia May Terry Feagan. Virginia worked as professional secretary and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister Lorena Feagan Cardwell of Forest, a niece Virginia May Wilson and her husband Joseph of Forest, two great-nephews David Wayne Wilson and Richard Neal Wilson both of Forest, a great-niece Elizabeth Ann Feagan of Lynchburg, a sister-in-law Dorothy Moon Powers of Lynchburg.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Garland C. Feagan and Walter F. Feagan, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday December 1, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A Celebration of Virginia\"™s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday December 2, 2013 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Dr. Rick Ewing officiating. Entombment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
