Virginia Turpin Overstreet

Virginia T. Overstreet was born on July 30th, 1928, in Bellevue. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Key Summerson and Buford O. Turpin and her husband of 71 years, Lewis C. Overstreet as well as her two brothers, William K. Turpin, and Gene Turpin.
She is survived by her two daughters, Suzanne Overstreet and Jean Parker and her granddaughter, Katie Craig and her husband, Alex as well as great-granddaughter, Rylie Grace Craig.
Virginia was a teacher in the Bedford County School System for 37 years.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Virginia’s honor to the American Cancer Society or Good Samaritan Hospice.
