Waldemar “Wally” Zagora

Waldemar \"Wally\" Karl Zagora, 82, of Madison Heights died Sunday May 8, 2011. He was the loving husband of Traute Dannath Zagora for almost 60 years.

Waldemar was born September 2, 1928 in Schonbrunn, Germany the son of the late Gustav Zagora and Maria Kern Zagora. Wally was a Retired manager with Adler Royal Business Machines, an avid reader, enjoyed following politics, but he especially loved spending time with his family.

 

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Regina Tyree and her husband Marvin \"Smokey\" of Madison Heights, two grandchildren; Amanda Elaine Tyree and her fiancée Chris Davis of Madison Heights, and Brigitte Tyree Wilson and her husband Mark of Amherst, a special cousin Hans Dannath and his companion Marion Wells of Lynchburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Beatrix Zagora Vargas, and a sister Edith Rogner.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday May 12, 2011 at New Beginning Tabernacle 1886 S. Coolwell Road Madison Heights with the Rev. Gary L. Moore officiating.
