Wallace Joseph Krauss, 83, of Rustburg, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He was the husband of Harriet Schmidt Krauss for 62 years.
Wallace was born June 21, 1934 in Franklin Square, New York, a son of the late John Krauss and Mary Klueg Krauss. Wallace worked as a Landscaping Contractor for many years and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Rustburg.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Wallace Krauss, Jr. and wife Linda, and Wayne Krauss and wife Cindy all of Vermont, Laurel Krauss of New Hampshire, and Donna Krauss of Rustburg, one brother Lawrence Krauss and one sister Dorothy Biamonte both of New York, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Wallace will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Rustburg on Bear Creek Rd.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
