Walter Charles Dyba, 49, of Forest, died Monday, March 16, 2015 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born September 24, 1965 in New York a son of Dorcas Alena Hendershot Dyba and the late Stanley Joseph Dyba.
Walter was owner/operator of Unlimited Electrical Contracting, Inc. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and a lifetime year member of Brookville-Timberlake Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed the beach, the outdoors, visiting Williamsburg and Busch Gardens but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Walter is survived by his wife, Pamela Gaddy Dyba; three sons, Walter Samuel Dyba, Jacob Christian Dyba and Luke Charles Dyba all of Forest; four siblings, Emmadean Andersen of Florida, Stanley Dyba of New York, Charles Dyba of Lynchburg and Amy Jennings and her husband, Jerry of Gladys; mother-in-law, Barbara A. Abbott and her husband, Wayne of Forest; four beloved sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and their families; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of Walter’s life will be conducted at 11 AM, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Boyles and Rev. Julie Flores officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery. A reception will also follow in the church fellowship hall. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory.
