Wanda Gail Grishaw Marshall, 55, of Lynchburg, died on Saturday, February 18, 2012. She was the wife of James Harry Marshall. Wanda was born on January 4, 1957 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Richard Howard and Margaret Johnson Grishaw.
In addition to her husband, Wanda is survived by one daughter, Tonya Ferguson Good and husband, Steven; four grandchildren, Payton, Garrett, Kendall and Bryson all of Lynchburg; one sister, Deborah Phipps and husband, Paul Lee Phipps of Lynchburg; two brothers, Richard Barry Grishaw of Evington and Larry Howard Grishaw of Spout Spring; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special niece Casey Lee Phipps and special friends, Sue and Jimmy Bass.
The pride and great joy of Wanda\"™s life was being \"Nana\" to her four grandchildren. She was a member of Jordan Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Jordan Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Campbell officiating. Entombment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
