Wanda Lee Orndorff, 83, formerly of Quinwood, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Born January 25, 1931 in Quinwood, WV; she was a daughter of the late Telford Zopp and Verna Nutter Zopp.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wyldon Orndorff; daughters, Lynn Green and husband, Tim, Jennifer Burton and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Zachary Green (Phi Beta Kappa, U.V.A. graduate) and Mikayla Burton (Honor student at Holy Cross Catholic); a brother, Robert Zopp; a sister, Barbara Gilmore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by three sisters, Uldene, Louise, and Kathleen.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at MountainBaptistChurch, in Carl WV.
Family and friends will be received Friday, May 2, 2014 from 5:30 until 7:30 PM at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with a brief service at 6:00p.m.
