Wanda Sue Dooley Honaker

Wanda Sue Dooley Honaker, 60, of Montvale passed away on October 18, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1960 in Bedford, Va. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Faye Taylor and her brother, Douglas Dooley.  Wanda was an avid baseball fan, she loved many different teams, but the Baltimore Orioles was her favorite. Wanda was a member of the Pentecostals of Roanoke where she attended faithfully. In addition to church she loved her family and being around people.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Clayton Wayne Honaker; parents, Hilton Swanson and Catherine Dooley; sons, Eric Dooley (Beth), Willie Dillon, Clayton “Bogger”  Honaker; daughter, Ashley Honaker; grandchildren, Angel Rose Janney, Pay Pay and T-dog; sister, Ann Switzer (Pete); brothers, James Dooley, Bernard Dooley (Vickie), Bobbi Juno Dooley, Earl Ward as well as numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Bedford, on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Harden officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
