Warren Kent Douglas, 36, of Madison Heights, died Saturday, February 16, 2019.
He was born in Lynchburg, the son of Melvin and Karen Douglas, and grew up in Amherst County.
Warren graduated from Amherst County High School in 2001 where he played the trombone in Marching Band. He began working in the HVAC trade as a teen and went on to earn his Certificate in HVAC from CVCC in 2004. In 2016, he became a Master HVAC technician and, in 2017, the sole member manager of Thompson Heating & Cooling, LLC. His interests included kayaking, hunting, fishing and, his favorite, spending time in his glass blowing studio.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister, Christina Burrows and her husband Sean of Harper’s Ferry, WV, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at Gospel Community Rivermont, 1301 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24503 on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00p.m. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church.
