Wayne Cromer Gracey
Wayne Cromer Gracey, 84, of Lynchburg, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Solange Dupont Gracey for 28 years.
Mr. Gracey was born in Mount Union, PA, on July 2, 1926, a son of the late Russell Gracey and Jane Cromer Gracey. He attended Mt. Union High School and Penn State University.
He was a natural gas engineer and retired from the Institute of Gas Technology in Chicago, IL. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy during both World War II and the Korean Conflict for eight years.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a stepson, Gerard Farmer, of Singapore, and two stepdaughters, Annette Habecker of Orlando, FL, and Claudine Hanani of Orange County, CA.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
