Wayne Farrow

Wayne Farrow, 73, departed this life on February 3, 2024, at Lynchburg General Hospital. 

Wayne was born on August 31, 1950. He attended Dunbar High School and was a faithful member of White Rock Baptist Church until his health failed. Wayne worked at Lynchburg Covenant Fellowship for over 15 years until he retired. 

Wayne was the son of the late Nathan and May Farrow, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Nathan "Ralph" Farrow. 

Wayne leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Frieda Farrow, son Corneilus "20" Cashwell, stepdaughter Demetrise Thomas (Kevin), stepson Rahman Tanner, one granddaughter, one step-granddaughter and three grandsons, all of Lynchburg, VA., 

He is survived by one brother, Reginald Farrow (Darcell) of Lynchburg, VA and one sister, Kay Farrow-Smith of Alexandria, VA., two Aunts Shirley Johnson of Lynchburg, VA., Sadie Cook of Brooklyn, New York and one Uncle, Don Hunter of Lynchburg. Wayne also leaves to cherish a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and a faithful friend, Rev. William Johnson.,  

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, 1:00pm at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel.  Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
