Wendy Lynn Maness

Wendy Maness, 35, of Madison Heights went to be with the Lord suddenly on Saturday, July 23, 2011 after a tubing accident.  She is wife of Eric Maness.

She was born in Lynchburg; January 26, 1976 the daughter of Robert (David) Tyree and Katherine (Kathy) Tyree.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, McKenzie L. Tyree; a son Gavin W. Maness; two brothers Andrew D. Tyree and John R. Tyree of Madison Heights; her grandmother Ada S. Campbell of Madison Heights a nephew Christian Tyree of Franklin Co.  A\" Sister at Heart\" Lindsay M. Johnson and loving friend Vicky S. Abbott all of Madison Heights; numerous aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.

Wendy was an employee of Genworth Financial.  She was always bringing joy to others with her smiles and giggles.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 27, 2011, at Madison Heights Christian Church, with the Reverend Jack Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 \"" 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights Chapel and other times at the home of her parents.
