Wesley Guill, 89, formerly of Lynchburg, VA, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Farmville Health & Rehabilitation Center in Farmville, VA.
Born September 8, 1931, Mr. Guill learned a trade at an early age and later moved with his young family to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the high rise commercial construction industry. He later returned to his hometown, and with his twin brother John, formed Guill Brothers Concrete. Together as well-regarded subcontractors, they worked on commercial projects throughout Virginia, including construction of the Roanoke Civic Center (now Berglund Center) and additions to Lynchburg General Hospital.
He is predeceased by his wife of many years, Faye, his brother John, and sisters Gladys and Vivian. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia, his son Robert, his daughter-in-law Kristi, his grandsons Arthur and Jakob, and his sister Dorothy.
