Wesley Hogan, 60, of Lynchburg, went home to be with our Lord on January 30, 2017. He was a beloved son of William “Bill” Hogan and the late Mary Forbes Hogan.
He graduated from Brookville High Scholl in 1975, and subsequently received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1980.
After his graduation, Wes accepted a position with Citgo Petroleum followed by 23 years of dedicated service.
Wes is survived by his father William “Bill” Hogan of Lynchburg; a brother, David Hogan and his wife Angela of New York and their four children. Wes has three beloved children; Melissa Rhine, Donnie Hogan (and his wife Jillian) and Jessica Hogan. Wes has four beautiful grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at Beulah Baptist Church, 528 Leesville Road, Lynchburg, on Saturday morning, February 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. the Rev. Dennis Hollandsworth officiating. The family will host a visitation at the church at 10 a.m. preceding the memorial service.
