William David Hull

William David Hull, 68, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born on December 06, 1956, in Bedford, VA. A son of the late William Frederick Hull and Patricia Jane Blankenship Hull. In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Gayle Hull.

David was a truck driver for Kroger and Ruan for many years. He loved the outdoors and hiking the Peaks of Otter. He was a member of New Prospect Church and had been attending since he gave his life to the Lord. David was always known for working on anything with a motor. He was a great mechanic and loved working with his hands. His other passions were farming, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

David is survived by his three children, Amy St. Clair and her significant other, Kevin Shotwell, Amanda Creasy and her husband, Matthew and Adam Hull; His significant other Regina S. Knight; brother, Dale Hull and his wife, Barbara; Special Cousin who he thought of as a brother, Austin Hull and his wife, Melinda; Nieces and Nephews, Jonathan Hull, Daniel Noel and his significant other Karen Simpson, Darah McPherson and her husband, Brian, Kellan Hull, Trampas Hull and wife, Jami, Josey Hull and significant other John Archer great nieces and nephews, Treyse Hull, Tristan Hull, Rhylan Logwood and Eivah McPherson. Also surviving are numerous cousins, other family and many friends.

A funeral service and celebration of David’s life will be conducted at 11:00 on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford with Austin Hull officiating. A burial will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00pm for a combined visitation for David and his loving mother Patricia who passed away just two days later, on Sunday, April 13, 2025, also at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory Bedford.
