William Frank “Billy” Proehl, Jr. 57, of Lynchburg died Saturday, September 23, 2017.
Frank was born on May 3, 1960, a son of the late William Frank Proehl, Sr. and Gloria Proehl. Frank was a proud co-owner of Pit Stop Auto with Ron Gerdung. He loved his Saturday’s up at the shop, working on cars as well as his family and his close friends “Rex and Sam.”
In addition to his mother, Frank is survived by his three children, Amanda, Megan and Joey; one brother, Jeffrey; one sister, Selena; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins, Horace Lee, Ernie, Mac, Melony, and Fancy; aunts, Dinky Martin and Sandra Martin; seven grandkids.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Viar Family Cemetery in Madison Heights on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 1 p.m.
