William Curtis Crawford died June 21, 2016 at Lynchburg general Hospital. Curtis is survived by his wife of 49 years Ginger Crawford.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, VivianSue Crawford, sons: James “Jimmy” Crawford and wife, Lorie, Steven Crawford and wife, Rachel; grandchildren: Crystal LeeAnn Crawford, Thomas Crawford, DanaAnn Dixon, Benjamin Dixon, Daijon Bannister, Bobby Staples, Calvin “CJ” Muse, Conner Crawford, Cooper Crawford, Carson Crawford and Chloe Crawford and special family members, Dave and Brenda Dixon. He is also survived by two sisters: Jenny Earls and husband, Dudley, Barbara Jean Barnes and husband George and by a sister-in-law, Marie Bowman and her husband, Le and a brother-in-law, Ritchey Wood and wife, Teresa and many loved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Barlow” Crawford and Dainese “Spud” Crawford Elswick: a sister: Martha Blevins and her husband, Ernest Blevins two brothers: Robert “Bucky” Crawford and Donald “DeeDee” Crawford and his parents-in-law, Roy and Thelma Brewster.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday afternoon, July 3, 2016 at Peery & St. Claire Funeral Home in his hometown of Tazewell, VA.
