William Edward Fore was born on January 4, 1943 in Gladys Va., the fourth son of the late Walter Fore and Edna Dennis Fore. Edward was preceded in death by his brothers Louis Fore, Charles Fore, and a grandson Takis Anderson.
Bill was educated in the school systems of Virginia. He was a graduate of Campbell County High school in Rustburg, Va., in the class of 1960. William had a brilliant mind and could see and design what would have been impossible for others. He was a man of many talents. One of his many gifts was that of a Manufacturing Engineer of flight Simulators. In 1960 William attended the RCA Institute specializing in electronics. There he met Walter Schwarzkopf with whom he developed and maintained a lifelong friendship. The two friends went to work at Reflectone Electronics in 1962. They left Reflectone Electronics for three months and worked together at Norden Electronics but returned to Reflectone, (now known as CAE) where they worked for over forty years and the two friends along with Carol Collins have continued to share work projects and friendship until the time of William’s death. William’s talent in electronics was shared throughout the world. He has worked in Canada, Japan, China, Russia and Saudi Arabia.
William met and married Christine Fore on May 5, 1990 in Tampa Florida, having chosen the relationship three years prior for a total of 34 years in the relationship and 31 wonderful years of marriage.
God allowed William the honor to become the father of one daughter, and grandfather of an amazing granddaughter of whom he was so proud and one committed son-in law (in love), James Anderson. He became the bonus father to three daughters; 8 bonus grandchildren, and a son-in-law to whom he contributed to their physical, social, spiritual and emotional growth as a result of his marriage to Christine.
William accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 9 years at First St. Paul Baptist church, where he was baptized and served until he left to begin his career. William later joined Bible based fellowship church under Dr. Arthur T. Jones where he served as manager of the facilities until the death of pastor Jones. He later became a member of Heritage Christian Community Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Delores James Cain. William became a part of the Shepherds staff and served faithfully until he moved back home to Virginia in 2017.
Those left to celebrate his life and to mourn his passing are his loving and devoted wife, Christine Kellum Fore; his only daughter, Sherranne Fore Anderson (James) and granddaughter Tayma Anderson; bonus daughters, Kyra Stewart, Alicia Clemmons, and Jessica Pointer (Jerome); eight bonus-grandchildren and three bonus-great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Fore (Judy) and Calvin Fore; Miriam Saxton, Elizabeth Teagle, Cynthia Williams, Eileen Coleman; four brothers-in-law, Roscoe Kelum, Theodore Kellum (Joyce) and David Kellum (Carol) and Glenn Kellum; an aunt, Lucy Anderson; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank you is extended to Edward’s devoted nephew Kelvin Fore and his brother Rodney Fore.
