William Lee Salmon, 55, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 23, 2020, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, E. Austin Salmon, Jr., his mother, Evelyn F. Harris, and his sisters, Jenny S. Tucker and Robbin S. Viar.
William is survived by Dianna Perry Bucchi and her son Thomas Waters Perry, IV, his step mother, Rebecca B. Salmon, his sisters Gwendolyn S. Hughes, Jo Ellen S. Shafer (Wayne), Vicky H. Simpson, and Tammy H. Brock (Jason), his brothers Robert B. Salmon and James R. Hughes, lll (Jean), his brother-in-law, Cristopher S. Viar, his uncle and aunt, Richard and Barbara Salmon, his aunt Pam Salmon and numerous other family members and friends.
William, a longtime resident of Timberlake, sold real estate in Lynchburg and the surrounding areas for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, the beach, and time spent with family and friends.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Jerry Skinner for his invaluable support and friendship extended to William over many years.
