William Marvin Foster

William “Bill” Marvin Foster, 71, of Forest, VA, died Monday, September 21, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Beth Bailey Foster for 39 years.
Bill was born November 4, 1948 in Lynchburg, a son of the late William Massie Foster and Margaret Pearl Casey Foster. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and retired from RR Donnelley / LSC Communications after 31 years. He was also a member of Mt. View United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, David Foster (Sharon) and their children: David Foster, Jr. (David), John Foster (Cassie); a sister, Luann Turner (Billy) and their children: Samantha Turner and Drew Turner; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Bill enjoyed gardening, fishing, and trips to the beach. He loved spending time outdoors and with family, especially his furry children Sophie and Abbey.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be conducted later in November.
