William Randolph \"Bill\" Kizer, 69, of Lynchburg, VA, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Mr. Kizer was born Wednesday, April 23, 1941 in Lynchburg, VA, the son of Helen Brooks Kizer Harrison of Buchanan Dam, Texas and the late William Bullock Kizer. He was retired from Roberts Piano Company where he was a service technician for 40 years. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Robert L. Harrison of Buchanan Dam, Texas; his aunt, Peggy Burruss, of Lynchburg, VA; his caretaker and companion, Claude W. Cordle, of Lynchburg, VA; his canine companion, Cornet (Little Man); and a host of cousins and relatives.
A celebration of William's life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Peakland Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. B. Steven McNeely officiating.
