William Walton
William C. Walton, 98, a resident at Westminster Canterbury in Lynchburg, passed away October 28, 2011.
Born on December 18, 1912 in Warminster, Pa. He was the son of the late Albert C. Walton and Lida Cornell Walton. Mr. Walton graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1947 and was a successful accountant and business manager.
In addition to his wife of 18 years, Janie Preston Walton, he is survived by three grandchildren and three great- grand children. He was preceded in death by his fist wife, Francis Lightcap Walton and his daughter, Nancy Walton Buchan.
A memorial service will be held at Westminster Canterbury on Sunday, November 6 at 1:00 PM.
