On the morning of Saturday, February 3, 2024, Willie G Weigand III, age 78, transferred his membership to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior.
Willie was born in Lynchburg, VA on January 7, 1946, to the late Rachael Callis Weigand and W. Gray Weigand Jr. He was a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and went on to pursue a career in administrative management with Craddock-Terry Shoe Company.
At an early age, Willie accepted Jesus Christ and became an active member of the United Methodist Church. During his adult years, he served in many capacities of leadership within the church. He served in local church administration, sang in the church choir, and served on the District Committee of Ordained Ministry and the VA Conference Board of Ordained Ministry.
Willie will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife, Stephany B. Weigand; daughters Candice Nicole Campbell, Kimberly Dawn Smith (Paul) and Deborah Lynn Bond (James).
Willie adored his grandchildren Kylee and Paul.

A celebration of life will be held at Heritage United Methodist Church on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. with a gathering of family and friends following the service.
