Winifred “Winnie” Bradford Moore, 86, of Lynchburg, died Monday, November 15, 2016. She was the loving wife of Thomas M. Moore for 67 years.
Winnie was born August 26, 1930, in Miami, Fla., a daughter of the late A. Lee Bradford and Brainerd Sims Bradford. Winnie was retired as an assistant business manager for the Severn School in Severna Park, Md., and was a Presbyterian by faith.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son M. Lee Moore of Richmond, two daughters, Cynthia Jeanne Moore of Normal, Ill., and Laura Louise Taylor of Welcome, Md., and two grandchildren.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Winnie at a later date at Old City Cemetery in Lynchburg.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
