Winifred Cleveland Wright, 85 of Rustburg, passed on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the loving wife of Joseph Wright for 58 years.
Born Saturday, July 20, 1929 in Champaign, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Warren Cleveland and the late Edit Swaback Cleveland.
Winnie was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she played the organ.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Warren Cleveland Wright and wife Cindy of Concord. Three grandsons: Joseph Wright, Joshua Wright and Benjamin Wright.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory Lynchburg. With Pastors; Donnie Stevens and Mark Fesmire officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg. .
