Woodrow “Woody” Wilson Booth, Jr., 64, of Moneta departed his life on Thursday, February 22, 2018. He was born on February 13, 1954 in Man, WV. He was the son of the late Woodrow and Colleen Booth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Jerry Booth and a sister, Jean Booth.
Woody was a retired truck driver who loved traveling the road. He served his country in the United States Army. Woody also enjoyed watching football, NASCAR and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Brad Kesleowski fan. In previous years he also enjoyed the outdoors while hunting and mowing his grass.
Those left to cherish his memory and life is his beloved wife of 43 years, Sabrina Booth; a daughter, Linda Lotts and son-in-law, Eddie Lotts; son Eric Booth; sisters, Tudy Rose and her husband, Buck and Mary Jo Booth, Linda Williamson and her husband, Ernie; brother, David Booth all of West Virginia; two grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service and celebration of Woody’s life will be conducted on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends also on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm prior to the Service.
