Zachary \"Zac\" Scott Griffin, 27, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012.
Zac worked as a heavy equipment operator for Phillips Construction, formerly with Counts & Dobyns.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Foreman of Goode; sister, Sara Foreman of Lynchburg; maternal grandparents, Dr. & Mrs. William S. Foreman, Jr. of Forest; uncle, Joe Foreman and wife, Cathy Fitzgerald of Chesepeake, VA; aunt, Margaret and Andy McCollum of Statham, GA; and nephew, Oliver Reid Foreman of Lynchburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation, 2807 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23294.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2 PM, Saturday, September 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, (540) 586-3443.
