Burley "Milton" Ferguson

Burley “Milton” Ferguson, 69, of Gladstone went to his heavenly home surrounded by his family on Thursday April 27, 2023 after his 7 year long and courageous fight with cancer.

Milton was the son of the late Billy Ferguson and Joyce Rosen. He was married to the love of his life, Janet Ferguson of 30 years. He is survived by his children Bryan Ferguson (Dana) of Concord, Crystal Burks (C.B.) of Gladstone, Michael Gunter (Rachel) of Gladstone, Kristie Ferguson of Rustburg, Kelli Mays (Joe) of Monroe, Katie Franklin (Derek) of Gladstone and Trenton Gunter of Gladstone; His grandchildren, Morgan (Gus), Taylor, Tanner, Emily, Sydney, Blake, Kaden, Reagan, Jacie, Karleigh, Madelyn, Ryleigh, Chesney, Addisyn, Kristin, Gracie, Faith, Lila, Ava and Callie; his great-grandchildren, Knox and Tripp; and one sister, Roberta Ferguson of Amherst.

Milton was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a truck driver for many years and was well known as “Mouse”. He was an avid gardener and a lover of all music, especially AC/DC. “ If you leave hungry its your own fault” because he loved to cook for others. One of his greatest joys was doing wood work and making special gifts for his wife. He loved all 4-legged babies especially Tucker and Hazel.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Gladstone Fire and Rescue Department 8786 Richmond Hwy, Gladstone VA 24553 at 2:00 PM. The family is accepting visitation at other times at the home of Milton and Janet.
