Peggy I am so sorry for sweet Edna’s passing. She was such a sweet, compassionate human being and I had the honor to work with her until she was pulled away from home. Edna loved all your decorations and home made meals you would make. She would always say “Peggy makes the best food”. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for her.

I remember this day like it was yesterday! It was a day I was taking you to an Appointment & I believe we had lunch afterwards. I enjoyed our time together, Miss Edna, you have the most beautiful soul. There are not enough words to express what your friendship meant to me, our fellowship time, our talks about this & that. You earned your wings honey, well done! You were like a second mom to me, it never felt like "work" when I was in your home to help you. ALL of your girls miss you & we love you dearly. Thank you for adding so much to my life, you will be forever missed. You're at peace now, you're HOME where you longed to be. My deepest sympathy. In the mid-70's, I was a bagboy at Kroger's Miller Park store where Edna ran checkout lane #2. I bagged many groceries for her. She was a kind and sweet lady.
