Harry Hargrove “Bucky’ Hill III
Harry Hargrove “Bucky’ Hill III, 75, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, in a local hospital.
He was a graduate of E. C. Glass High School class of 1966, Washington and Lee University in 1970, returned to Washington and Lee and earned his law degree. Harry then attended Virginia
Theological Seminary and spent 23 years as an Episcopal Priest. He moved his membership to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Cary Evans Hill. Surviving are his father, Harry Hargrove Hill II, and brother, James K. Hill.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 12 p.m. on Wednesday April 5, 2023. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
